I've been having a difficult time with my fiction writing as of late; my characters are refusing to tell me their stories. This creates an issue for me because I do not believe in the idea of forced creativity. I'd rather let something remain unfinished rather than write something that is nowhere near my full potential.

- I am a college student with Creative Writing major/Film minor at Bowling Green State University. I have been writing poetry for a little more than ten years now and fiction for about five. I played several instruments while growing up, including the B-flat clarinet, alto clarinet, oboe, and the piano (which I still play). I also enjoy singing as I see it as a release for my emotions. I love to keep journals but it seems to be easier for me to update one on the computer, which is why I created this account. I still use regular journals; I just need to quit procrastinating on keeping them updated!
